Circa 1900 German "Lions Head" violin restored by Larry Brown

Esteemed Asheville-based luthier Larry Brown is a name recognized by almost every traditional music player in the area. Larry's guitar, violins, and mandolins are well sought after... and for good reason! Here is a German violin that Larry has restored by revoicing the top, carving a new bass bar, and applying new varnish. Currently set up with Wittner fine tuning pegs (a plus for fiddlers who cross tune) and D'Addario Helicore G, D, and A with a Hill E string. Outstanding instrument. Case included.
