The lot is referred to as “People’s Farm,” reflecting the collective effort of more than 500 farmers contributing cherry to the station. Grown along the slopes near Lake Kivu, the region benefits from cool temperatures, high elevation, and volcanic soils shaped by the East African Rift. These conditions support slow maturation and layered structure in the cup. Fully washed and dried with precision, the coffee presents a balanced profile—bright citrus, deeper sugar browning notes, and a steady chocolate finish. – In an effort to provide the freshest coffee possible with the lowest amount of waste, all coffee orders will be roasted at the beginning of the week and shipped out within two business days of roast.
