Nike Mercurial Vapor IX Tropical Pack LE FG New with box The Upper: This is the Vapor IX Limited Edition Tropical Pack, limited to just 2500 pairs worldwide The boots feature a slightly different upper than the normal Vapor IX, it does not have the "golf ball" like texture on it, instead it uses the same upper design from the previous Vapor VIII model The upper also has a unique colorway and design, sort of looking like a lightning storm as part of the Tropical Pack If you remember the Vapor VIII, then you know how incredible the upper was, super soft Teijin synthetic and incredibly lightweight, moulding to your foot instantly The Sole Plate: The Vapor IX used a glass fiber sole plate, continuing from the previous model The glass fiber not only looked sleek and sexy, but was extremely lightweight and flexible, a big fan favorite in terms of comfortability The Vapor IX only used two studs on the back, making them even lighter than some previous Mercurial models Notes and Comments: Not many people remember the release of the Tropical Pack back in the day, but overall the design is rather nice and definitely much more unique than anything you see today These are essentially a Vapor VIII released a a Vapor IX, the same super soft upper was used Limited edition, with OG box and still factory laced!
