Produced by Vida Péter in Hungary’s Szekszárd region, this rosé reflects the estate’s focus on expressive wines from sustainably farmed hillside vineyards. Vida Péter is recognised for combining traditional Hungarian varieties with modern low intervention winemaking, working with low yields and careful hand harvesting. The vineyards are planted on loess, clay and limestone rich soils that provide freshness and mineral character, while the warm continental climate encourages ripe yet balanced fruit. Made primarily from Kékfrankos with small amounts of local red varieties depending on the blend, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. The wine shows delicate aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant alongside floral notes and subtle citrus lift. The palate is dry, vibrant and refreshing with crisp acidity, juicy red berry flavours and a clean mineral finish. It pairs beautifully with grilled vegetables, seafood, charcuterie, salads and light Mediterranean dishes.
