No Date Ethiopia 10 Dollars 1945 Banknote Emperor Haile Selassie P #14c Nice VF+

Description: A nice very fine Banknote from Ethiopia. This is the no date 1945 ten dollars currency note issued by the State Bank of Ethiopia. The front of the banknote has black design on orange underprint and depicts the image of emperor Haile Selassie at left and the image of St. George Square with the statue of Menelik II on horseback in the center. The back, which is red in color, depicts the image of the Ethiopian Arms which is a crowned lion with a flagged cross in its paw. The banknote does not display the date anywhere. It displays the denomination on both the front and back. It has one signature on the front and is signed Rozell. This particular note has the serial number AN 328445 noted in red twice on the front. The note has no watermark and no security thread that we could find. A nice very fine note that would make a nice addition to your collection. Pick Number: P 14c and is listed in the Banknote Book as B203c. Condition: I would grade the banknote as a nice very fine. The note is soiled with no objectionable large stains. The note has vertical folds and no observable horizontal fold. The note also has some light wrinkling, especially along the top edge. The edges are soiled and show light roughness as well as some minor nicks. The note has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. Its corners are intact but show rounding and some bumps. The note's paper is heavy and stiff, and its colors show no appreciable fading. All in all, a nice note worthy of a spot in your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
