Vintage Thierry Mugler Evening Jacket With Tie Waist

This vintage Thierry Mugler jacket is a serious investment piece, in a shape that's classic Mugler yet very rare to find. Circa late 1980s, the exaggerated nipped waist, dramatic lapels, and mermaid-green hue are signatures of Manfred Mugler. With a silhouette that's all at once sexy and ladylike, it features a low-cut V-neck with sculptural lapels, and a snap closure at the waist, covered by a tie. The shoulder pads and flared hips enhance the flattering hourglass shape. It's unlined, and the fabric is not listed but it feels like a silk/cotton blend. Made in France.
