Spider plants grow fairly quickly and can easily become pot bound. Repot every other year. PLANTS WILL VARY. No direct, hot sunlight, which can burn their leaves and cause brown tips and spots. WATER: when the soil is dry. During summer, water regularly and keep soil evenly moist. During the winter, allow soil to dry out briefly between waterings. Water the plant weekly on the soil surface and not on the leaves. PLANT TIP: During summer, spider plants may produce tiny white flowers on long stems, as well as baby spider plants (offsets) called “pups.” The pups look like tiny spiders, hence the plant’s name.
