Epic Fury is a powerful and visually dramatic katana where aggressive aesthetics meet traditional Japanese sword craftsmanship. The sword is characterized by its vibrant hitatsura hamon , one of the most spectacular hamon patterns in swordsmithing where the hardening spreads over larger areas of the blade, creating an explosive and irregular pattern. The combination of T10 carbon steel, traditional differential hardening and meticulous hand polishing gives the blade both strength and character. The result is a sword that exudes power and intensity while maintaining classic katana proportions. Blade The blade is forged from T10 high carbon steel and differentially hardened using the traditional clay process to create a genuine hitatsura hamon . Hitatsura is a complex hardening pattern where the hardening not only follows the edge line but also spreads up the blade's surface. This creates a dramatic and vibrant pattern that makes each blade unique . After hardening, the blade undergoes careful hand polishing in several stages to highlight the contrast of the hamon and the blade's finish. The differentially hardened construction provides a hard edge and a more flexible spine, creating a balanced blade structure. Tsuba + Tsuka The tsuka is covered in genuine stingray leather (samegawa) and wrapped with black cotton ito in the traditional style (hineri maki), which provides both stability and an authentic appearance. The tsuba and other fittings are made of detailed steel construction , which gives the sword a robust and decorative appearance while the construction remains functional. The length and proportions of the tsuka provide good balance and control in the hand. Saya The saya has a chaotic design and is equipped with horn reinforcements in koiguchi, kurigata and kojiri , a classic detail that both protects and enhances the durability of the koshirae.
