Grown and cured in various regions of Mexico. Primarily Veracruz, with some from Oaxaca and San Luis Potosi. They are Grade B - meaning, they are dryer, shorter and perhaps split and/or curved. You actually get more vanilla for the dollar, as the moisture level is around 20%. So, less moisture equals more beans. Mexico vanilla has a marvelous flavor and is unique due to the climate and soil conditions. It is a perfect ingredient for your baking masterpieces or savory dishes. And, never forget - ice cream!
