Donation - Public Amenities at Readymoney Cove

The public amenities at Readymoney Cove are much loved but not many people are aware that these are no longer council owned or operated. Readymoney Beach Shop opened in May 2017 with the express purpose of keeping the public toilets at the cove open for all, whether shop customers or not. This remains true today and as the owner of Readymoney Beach Shop, I'm proud to have been able to do this without imposing any mandatory charge for use. That said, many people are very grateful for the free & well-maintained facilities (we have at least one toilet open 24/7) and donate to show their thanks, using either the donation box on the wall or by donating in the shop. Redecoration of the much loved 1930's covered beach shelter was completed in May 2026 and I know how many people are grateful for this wonderful shelter, which has been the site of so many memories over the decades. I've been asked by people further afield how they can show their thanks for these facilities so if you would like to make a donation, please select the donation amount which suits you.
