Hermès Scarf 'Tribord' or Starboard 1968
Nautical Hermès scarf designed by Julia Abodie in 1968. Abodie created over 30 scarf designs for Hermès but this was her first one for the company. It is a true collector's scarf. It is titled, 'Tribord' which means Starboard in English. At the top center of the scarf 'Hermès-Paris' with the copyright is written. In the bottom right hand corner, Abodie's name is hidden within the design - see photo #8. It is a 90cm scarf and measures approximately 36" x 36". It is an original issue meaning its from the 1960s not from a later production. It is in good condition with a softer hand feel, moderate fading and moderate wear at the hem.
