RC Body Shell Roll Cage Installation Guide What's Included 1x Cage piece (rear window) 2x Long V length uprights (front windscreen) 2x Short V length uprights (side windows) 4x Straight sections (extras) Step 1 - Test Fit Before any gluing, test fit the roll cage inside your body shell to get a feel for how the pieces sit. The universal design is made to work across a wide range of 1/10 scale body shells, so minor adjustments may be needed. Step 2 - Shaping the Pieces Each piece can be gently warmed using a heat gun or hair dryer to make the material pliable. Once warm, carefully bend the piece to match the curves and contours of your body shell, then hold it in place until it cools and retains its new shape. Take your time with this step, small adjustments make a big difference to the final fit. Step 3 - Positioning Place each piece in its intended position: Cage = rear window area, Long V uprights = front windscreen, Short V uprights = side windows. Step 4 - Adhesion Once happy with the fit, secure each piece using your preferred adhesive: Shoe Goo for a strong flexible bond, hot glue for quick installation, or adhesive tape for a clean low profile finish. Allow adhesive to fully cure before use. Step 5 - Extra Straight Sections The 4 included straight sections are bonus pieces. Use these wherever you'd like to add extra detail, cross bars, additional supports or custom styling. These can also be warmed and shaped to fit.
