A limited-edition Speyside single malt made entirely from home-malted barley. Released as part of The 1931 Collection, it celebrates Balvenie's traditional floor malting and long-standing distillery craftsmanship. The whisky is matured in American oak before being finished in European oak ex-Sherry butts from Jerez, Spain. The nose brings honeyed malt, toasted cereal and warm biscuit, with delicate vanilla and dried fruit. On the palate, creamy honey and malt develop into soft toffee, ginger spice and dried fruit. The finish is rich and velvety, with lingering honey, toasted cereal, raisin and aromatic oak. Bottled at 47.5% ABV, this limited-edition whisky showcases Balvenie's distinctive home-malted barley character.
