HAWKER SIDDELEY G40 52′ 6″ GONDOLA WELDED MOUNTING PLATES This HO scale kit models the Canadian National Hawker Siddeley G40 gondolas after their modifications beginning around 1978. A total of 1268 cars (excluding 82 converted to Cush Coil cars, CN 136900–136981) had their stake pockets removed, leaving welded mounting plates visible on the interior. Originally built with wood floors and ends, many cars had these replaced with steel in the 1990s and beyond. The kit captures these details with finely 3D-printed parts.
