Organic DMSO & MCT Oil combines 40% Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) with 60% organic MCT (Medium Chain Triglyceride) oil in a ready-to-use topical formulation. DMSO is an organic sulphur-containing compound widely recognised for its ability to penetrate biological membranes and is commonly used in topical applications and cosmetic formulations. MCT oil, derived from coconut oil, is a lightweight, colourless and virtually odourless carrier oil composed primarily of caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) fatty acids. It is valued for its excellent skin feel and stability, making it an ideal companion ingredient in topical preparations. The combination of DMSO and organic MCT oil provides a balanced formula that is easy to apply to the skin. The organic MCT oil helps dilute the DMSO to a practical concentration while providing a smooth, non-greasy carrier base.
