Serenity

Serenity The Soft Animals collection celebrates the poetry of life, femininity, and nature. Each print reflects a different facet of the female experience - tenderness, strength, softness, and introspection. Serenity was inspired by the poem This Moment by Eavan Boland, which honours the quiet beauty of ordinary life unfolding at dusk. In the print, a woman gazes softly into the distance, held in a moment of calm presence. Like the poem, the image reflects on the small, luminous instants that often pass unnoticed - when time slows, the world softens, and we are simply here. Each piece is hand-printed on delicate Japanese washi paper, chosen for its soft texture and subtle translucency, which brings a gentle depth to the printed line. Each print is numbered and marked with Josie's maker’s mark.
