Where to Use Wood Lotion Wood Lotion is intended for interior wood surfaces with compatible wax oil finishes, including wood floors, furniture, frequently used tabletops, doors, wall paneling and ceiling panels. Coverage One liter covers approximately 538 square feet (50 square meters). Actual coverage varies depending on the absorbency of the surface. How to Use Wood Lotion Before treating the entire surface, test a small, inconspicuous area. Wood Lotion can deepen and intensify the appearance of the wood’s color. Prepare the surface. Clean thoroughly with a damp cotton cloth, then dry with a clean cotton cloth. Shake well. Apply Wood Lotion undiluted, using a cotton cloth to spread a thin, even layer. Allow it to absorb. Wipe away any unabsorbed product with a clean, dry cotton cloth. Finish by rubbing dry. Remove excess product so the surface does not feel greasy. How Often to Apply As a general guide, apply once a year to lightly used surfaces and twice a year to surfaces with heavier use.
