October 4 Weeks Course Wheel Throwing Beginner Course

4 weeks course Ceramic Wheel courses for Beginners, preferably you have had a taster class , so you can make the most of the course but suitable for full beginners. Courses are available in the evening and 8 students maximum per class will make the course intense, personal and tailored to your skills. Up to 8 wheels will be available so everyone has their own . COURSE DATES: Monday evenings in October 5th/12th/19th and 26th or Wednesday evenings Ocoroner 7th/ 14th/21st and 28th 6pm until 8:30pm 2.15 hours per session + 15 minutes cleaning Week 1 - All the basics of wedging and throwing shapes on the wheel and the focus will be in centering the clay and pulling walls- 2hours on the pottery wheel + cleaning Week 2&3- throwing on the pottery wheel to create up to 10 pieces , firing and glazing included in the course fees + cleaning Week 4 - Learning to trim your pieces on the wheel, learning how to make and attach handles to your pieces + cleaning Week 5. In the final week you will learn how to glaze your pieces , with an option of dip glazes, brush on glazed or painting your pottery with underglazes, creative freedom will be encouraged . Your pieces will be ready to collect 2-3 weeks after course finishes. Due to the courses set dates and times , cancellation of a class can’t be rescheduled and no refund . Any questions just ask!
