Class - First Knit Socks on Magic Loop

It's time you finally learn to knit socks! Join Lynne for this three week class and we'll walk you through the basics of sock construction. Each week we'll tackle the different parts of the sock including heels, gussets & toes. By the end you'll have a pair of hand knit socks to wear or gift. And you can finally check sock knitting off your knitting bucket list! Please note, this is not a beginning knitting class. You must have previous knitting experience and be comfortable with knitting on magic loop. Socks will be knit top-down in this class. We will be using the Rye Sock Pattern by Tin Can Knits. We will provide you with a printed copy when you arrive for class, but you can also download the pattern on Ravelry HERE. Where: Needles & Hooks When: This class takes place over 3 weeks, 2 hours per session. Sundays, October 4th, 11th, and 18th, from 3:00-5:00pm Materials: (not included) (2) 100 gram hanks of worsted weight yarn. We suggest Berroco Vintage US 3 (3.25mm) & US 5 (3.75mm) 40" circular for magic loop method stitch markers darning needle Required Skills: Knitting, casting on, working in-the-round, working from a pattern We offer a 10% discount on all class materials purchased in our store for this class Fine Print: Some knit and pattern reading experience is required for this class, it's not for beginning knitters. Classes are offered in person and are limited to a small number of participants. If you choose to cancel, you will receive a refund up to 48 hours prior to the beginning of the class. Refunds will be issued if your class is cancelled due to low enrollment.
