It balances the powdery sweetness of violet and violet leaf with savory and starchy nature of sesame seed to create a velvety feel. There is an almost suede like texture in this enigmatic woody floral gourmand composition that smells so addictive. Velvet Violet is well balanced and smooth and it manages to feel both fresh, comforting, and sophisticated at the same time. Although not for everyone, I can't seem to stop sniffing my wrist.
