Fa La La La Fiber: a festive Seattle fiber retreat Make a weekend of yarn, holiday markets and fiber friends. Join Apple Yarns for a small-group knitting and crochet getaway in Seattle on December 5–6, 2026. With just 19 spots, this retreat gives you time to explore at your own pace, shop indie makers and enjoy the city dressed for the season. Your weekend, stitch by stitch Wool & Holly Winter Market: Browse a fiber-focused market featuring more than 39 indie dyers and makers. Your retreat includes skip-the-line entry. Pike Place Market: Spend time among the holiday lights, stalls and restaurants. Dinner is yours to choose. Yarn Dragon Factory Tour: Get a behind-the-scenes look at Yarn Dragon on Sunday early afternoon. Sunday afternoon: We have this time slot open so that our activity is weather appropriate. We will return to Bellingham between 4 and 5pm. Lunch is not included but we will have snacks on the bus. There are no classes or homework. Bring a project, come with a friend or meet new fiber friends along the way. Stay at Inn at the Market Spend Saturday night at Inn at the Market, steps from Pike Place Market. Choose a Skyline Luxe King or a Pike Place Peek Queen/Queen option; select your preferred room and transportation option when booking. Retreat details Dates: Saturday–Sunday, December 5–6, 2026 Departure: Apple Yarns in Bellingham. The shop opens at 8 a.m. for pastries and last-minute shopping; the bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. Return: Between 4 and 5pm on Sunday in Bellingham. Included: Round-trip bus transportation for bus-inclusive bookings, bus snacks and a swag bag, pastries before departure, Wool & Holly entry, one night at Inn at the Market, $20 voucher for breakfast at Inn at the Market, the Yarn Dragon Factory visit and a weather-appropriate stop on our way back to Bellingham. Not included: Other meals. No transportation booking options are available if you prefer to meet the group in Seattle. Money due at time of Registration. You may transfer your seat on the trip. Cancel before November 1st to receive an 80% refund, minus the $100 cancellation fee. We will try to fill your spot from a waitlist if we have one going.
