The Crafter Notebook Cover | Beginner Leather Pattern

Using The Crafter Notebook Cover PDF pattern, you can craft five different leather notebook covers that will fit one or two 5.5 by 3.5 inches Field Notes notebooks (or 14/9cm Moleskin Cahier Journals). The fun crafting feature is that they are all constructed from a single panel of leather. You will primarily choose between a cover designed for a thinner (7-8mm in diameter) or a thicker (8.5-9.5mm in diameter) pen or pencil inserted into the closure loops. After deciding on the version for thinner or thicker writing instrument, you'll find variations in the interior design, either with rounded corners or angular cuts. Additionally, I have included a simpler fifth version of the notebook cover without closure. The journal cover template is a beginner skill crafting pattern and comes with detailed assembly instructions including in-progress pictures to help you with the build.
