Handcrafted denim shirt with contrast stitch details. Designed, cut and made in Lancashire. A mood enhancing and compliment attracting shirt. Our ever-popular Dorothy peplum shirt has had a few little tweaks for this denim version. The contrast stitching wanders across the front pockets, tracing the shapes of the Pennine hills. The gathered peplum has a lovely textured edge, making use of the natural selvedge of the cloth rather than letting it go to waste. Designed to sit at the high hip, creating balance through the waist while allowing ease through the body. Button front to the waist using natural corozo buttons made in England. Read more about our process The Story Behind Dorothy Dorothy is named after my mum. She belonged to a generation that understood the value of good clothing and the importance of repair. She believed a garment should be practical, comfortable and beautifully made. If it wasn't useful, she wasn't interested. This shirt could only ever have been called Dorothy.
