Upcycled Khadi Kurta - Mannu
Description: This bias-cut A-line kurta is made from upcycled khadi, surplus handspun and handwoven pure cotton collected from various Khadi Bhandars in Karnataka. The fabric is washed, sorted, and joined piece by piece, a process that takes far more hours than cutting from a single new length. Cutting on the bias gives the kurta a soft, fluid drape. The facing in a vintage printed textile adds a hidden detail visible at the neck and hem as you go about your day. Upcycled pieces like this keep good cloth in circulation instead of in a landfill and give your wardrobe a one-of-a-kind kurta. Details: Scooped V-neck, three-quarter sleeves, side slits, 2 side pockets, vintage printed facing, and a bias cut. Important: As each garment is stitched from surplus khadi fabric, the colour shade, joins, and panels will vary from one piece to the next and differ from the image shown. The last image shows the fabric pile. Colour: Shades of browns and purples. Weight: Approximately 350 grams/kurta. Care: Hand wash separately at home in cold water with mild detergent, then dry in the shade. Size: Find the size chart above the size buttons. Note: The dress form is 5'5" tall, has a 34.5" bust, and wears size S. The price shown is for the kurta only. Stoles are available here.
