2760F – Classic GM F/X-Body Springs, 1″ Lowering

Get the cool, slightly lowered stance of a classic F-Body or X-Body without race car stiffness using the UMI 2760F 1″ Lowering Front Springs. Wound from 0.640-inch high-tensile chrome silicon wire, each spring delivers a linear 390 lb/in rate and carries 1,660 lbs at a 10.50-inch compressed height. Every spring is pre-set to solid, 100% shot peened to improve fatigue life, and finished in gloss black powder coat. The 2760F set includes two springs for 1967–1969 GM F-Body (Camaro and Firebird) and 1968–1974 GM X-Body (including Nova) front suspensions, each measuring 14.75 inches free length with a 5.000-inch outside diameter. Because cars this age have sagged over time, a 1″ lowering spring often maintains the existing ride height while adding a consistent rate. Ride height varies with engine, accessories, and car weight. Track tested on UMI’s 1st gen F-Body Camaro and built in the USA by UMI Performance.
