DS-70 Hoya 4"

About the DS-70 Hoya [DESCRIPTION] Small leaves, big main-character energy. This variegated DS-70 Hoya brings a fresh twist to the plant shelf, with fleshy leaves that pair lime-green centres with deeper green edges. Its mix of colour and texture makes this 4-inch wax plant a charming little addition to a bright room. Let its stems reach and trail as it grows, or give them a small support to explore. It is a lovely choice for a Hoya lover who enjoys watching new leaves unfold without needing to water every few days. [BREAK] Plant care Light: Bright, indirect light. Gentle morning sun can be suitable if introduced gradually, but protect the foliage from harsh midday sun. [BREAK] Water: Allow the potting mix to dry substantially between waterings, then water thoroughly and let it drain fully. Empty the saucer or decorative pot rather than leaving roots standing in water. Check the soil instead of watering on a fixed schedule. [BREAK] Difficulty: Moderate. Good drainage and a light hand with watering are the keys to keeping it happy. [BREAK] Feed: Apply a general-purpose houseplant fertilizer at half strength no more than once a month during active growth, following the product directions. [BREAK] Humidity & Temperature: Enjoys warm indoor temperatures and appreciates added humidity with good airflow. Keep away from cold drafts and heating vents. [BREAK] Pet safety: Hoyas are generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs, but they are not intended to be eaten. Keep out of reach of curious chewers, as eating plant material can still cause stomach upset. [BREAK] Growth: Vining stems can trail over the edge of a pot or be guided onto a small support. Growth varies with light, temperature and season. [BREAK] Common name: Wax plant. [BREAK] Leaf colour: Lime to yellow-green centres with darker green margins. Markings vary from leaf to leaf and between individual plants. [NOTE] Products may not look as shown, please call the shop directly with any questions @ 613-232-1733
