White Horse in Spring

A graceful white horse with a softly dappled gray coat glances to the side, its long silvery mane drifting through the air like silk. Gentle gray shading around the muzzle and a warm amber-brown eye give this spring portrait a calm, tender expression. Behind the horse, branches of pink and lilac magnolia blossoms with golden centers and plump buds open against a dreamy violet background. Building up the fine strands of the mane and the delicate petal tones one number at a time is a relaxing way to watch depth and light appear on the canvas. The finished painting adds a romantic springtime touch to a bedroom or reading corner and makes a thoughtful present for any horse enthusiast.
