Designed for bassheads and music lovers alike, it brings energy, weight, and excitement to every track. 10mm Diamond Diaphragm Driver The Thunder is designed around an all-new 10mm diamond-like carbon (DLC) diaphragm dynamic driver. This latest generation of DLC diaphragm driver enhances the rigidity and strength of the diaphragm membrane by incorporating a greater graphite coating on a thinner PEEK layer. The result is a more responsive diaphragm that deforms less, rebounds faster, and provides excellent transient responses across the entire frequency range. This allows greater bass quantities while maintaining a controlled and deep-hitting impact, perfect for those seeking a more powerful, yet cleaner, bass presentation. Bass-Head Tuning The Thunder features a true bass-head tuning, featuring a 16dB bass shelf that delivers a true sub-woofer-like bass experience. The Thunder delivers a resounding rumble in both the ultra-low and low-mid frequencies, bringing out every bass-guitar note and kick drum hit. Along with a deep sub-bass, the midrange is warm and rich, bringing out the best of male vocals in every genre. Despite the quantity of bass, the DLC diaphragm allows the bass to maintain control throughout the entire frequency range, providing a clean and natural sound without booming resonance. Clear Vocals The Thunder has also been tuned with a precise 2.8kHz treble curvature, perfectly delivering crisp and natural vocal and instrument tonality. This tuning allows vocals to be front and center, without being overshadowed by the bass. Vocals are crisp and clean, while the treble is well-extended to bring out micro-details that sparkle even in light of the bass.
