We found a small tree that was established in 2006, and created this stunning watch using a thin slice from the tree. Each of the 20 annual rings represents one year of the tree's life. Watches are crafted from Douglas-fir trees harvested from forests of western Montana. The wood dials are hand selected for their beauty and unique annual tree ring history. With 20 years of growth rings on each timepiece, hours, minutes, and seconds are juxtaposed against years. Underneath each wood dial sits a Seiko VH31 Mecha-Quartz movement. The watch is enclosed by a high quality stainless steel case and a sapphire crystal. The origin year of the chronology, 2006, is marked near the center of the tree.
