1960s Danish Modern Teak Wall Unit with Glass Display Cabinets and Secretary by HG Furniture

1960s Danish modern teak wall unit by HG Furniture, made in Denmark. This two-bay unit features warm teak wood grain, clean lines, and circular recessed wooden pulls throughout. The upper sections feature sliding glass doors with interior glass shelves for displaying books, ceramics, or collectibles. Below are two drop-front secretary cabinets with additional storage, including interior shelving and compartments. The lower sections offer four spacious drawers on one side and a cabinet with sliding wooden doors on the other. Open shelving between the upper and lower cabinets provides additional display space. A versatile storage and display piece with a mix of drawers, enclosed cabinets, and open shelving. Original HG Furniture manufacturer’s stamp on the back. Made in Denmark. Dimensions: 73”W x 16.625”D x 80.25”H Condition: This piece is shown in its current condition and will be reconditioned after purchase to meet our excellent vintage condition standards while preserving its history and vintage character. If purchasing as-is, this piece is in used-vintage condition. There are scratches, scuffs, dents, and dings scattered throughout, along with fading and wear to the finish. There are a few areas of chipped veneer as photographed. The tambour door and sliding glass doors open and close as they should. All drawers and drop-front secretary doors open and close properly.
