Art-Embracing Being

Embracing Being, 2026 Mixed-media Recycled colored paper, concrete, and oil paint on canvas 36 x 36 in “Peace is not the absence of chaos, but the total alignment of the soul with its true nature.” Embracing Being explores peace as presence rather than escape. A serene monochrome figure, partially embedded in the visual weight of concrete, meets the vivid watchfulness of the toucan. The contrast between industrial matter and living color turns the surface into a threshold: the density of physical existence gives way to clarity, attention, and inward alignment. Recycled paper, concrete, and oil paint hold opposing qualities—fragility and weight, stillness and vitality—in a single field. In this quiet alchemy, external noise recedes and being itself becomes an active, embodied form of grace.
