2026 McHenry Hohnen Apiary Block Chardonnay

This wine draws its name from beehives perched atop of this block at our Hazel’s vineyard in southern Margaret River. This is a pure and raw expression of place free from wine making manipulation and artifact. It has a cloudy appearance, which is the natural result from being unfiltered. The nose is complex and layered, revealing ripe lemon, yellow grapefruit pith and citrus blossom along with savoury cheese rind elements. The palate is vibrant and fine boned, balancing bright citrus acidity and saline minerality with supple creamy texture. Savoury elements combine with a chalky phenolic grip to carry the wine to a long flavourful finish.
