Buddleja 'White Profusion'

Buddleja 'White Profusion' is brilliant for brightening a border, with clean white flower spikes that read well even at dusk in summer and early autumn. In a sunny corner by a path or seating area, it gives a light, fresh look and plenty of wildlife interest without shouting for attention. Buddleja White Profusion grows as a bushy, medium to large shrub over time, making it useful at the back of beds and borders in cottage and informal planting. White flowers are easy to mix—try it with lavender, nepeta, or deeper purple plants for contrast, and add grasses for a softer, more natural finish. It’s a dependable choice when you want a hardy flowering shrub that doesn’t need constant tinkering. Give it full sun and it will manage most soils, including chalk, clay, loam and sand, across a wide pH range. Prune back in early spring to keep it vigorous and free-flowering. It’s a low maintenance shrub that settles in well and copes happily whether your site is sheltered or a bit more open.
