Orgasmatron: The Heavy Metal Art of Joe Petagno

Joe Petagno’s paintings have graced album covers for rock’ n’ roll bands since the 1970s and are beloved by fans. Beginning his career at Hipgnosis, Petagno came into his own creating the iconography and cover art for the influential rock band Motorhead. This is a collection of his best work. With a foreword by Lemmy Kilmister and an introduction by Steffan Chirazi, the book contains nearly 100 pages of glossy artwork. The Motörhead albums form the centerpiece, alongside other record covers such as Krisiun and Sigh.
