Coalbrookdale Urns

A rare pair of 19th-century Coalbrookdale cast-iron urns, with a distinctive petal rim and rounded form, each raised on a square plinth. Finished in distressed white paint, they have developed a lovely worn patina over time. Design registration number 133334, first registered on 19 September 1860, and listed as number 19 in the Coalbrookdale Castings Catalogue, with the original catalogue illustration shown in the photographs. Beautifully cast with impressive detailing, each urn is made in three sections and bolted together. In very good condition, this particularly attractive pair would make a striking addition to any garden.
