Born from an old QOTSA rehearsal joke — a pedal that shifts the blame for your mistake to the other guy’s amp — the Blameshifter is a handmade, fully buffered, multi-tool switching station for guitarists. How the Blameshifter works: 1 Buffered Input: High-impedance input with premium buffer for perfect signal integrity. OFF mode: Signal goes buffered to the main OUT. ENGAGED mode: The iconic severed finger points to your active routing: OUTPUT 1 & OUTPUT 3 – Dual Switchable Effects Loop / Amp Send: Each works as a buffered send to a second amp, or as a full effects loop with a dedicated RETURN input. Create two separate loops, engage entire pedal chains at once, and return to your main OUT when disengaged. Perfect as an effects loop switcher pedal. OUTPUT 2 – Buffered A/B / A+B Amp Switcher: The middle output is a dedicated buffered A/B switch. Use the side micro-switch to choose: A/B mode (only Output 2 active) or A+B mode (Output 2 plus your main OUT active) to run two amps at once. The result: a 3-position rotary switcher with 4 buffered outputs that replaces your A/B box, ABY box, and dual loop switcher in one work of art. Why a buffered splitter switcher from Dr. No?
