Quas Original Live Kvass Non Alcoholic
Quas Original is a traditional live kvass made in Edinburgh from Scottish water, rye and barley using a 180 year old sourdough culture. The flavour is dark and malty with dried fruit, gentle spice and a clean sourness that keeps the finish dry rather than sweet. It is unfiltered and unpasteurised, allowing the live cultures to remain active in every can. Chicory inulin adds fibre, with 6.7g per 330ml can, while the finished drink contains just 2.4g of sugars per 100ml. A distinctive alternative to beer, kombucha or soft drinks for anyone looking for something genuinely fermented and full of character.
