Jute Shibari Rope

Our Jute Shibari rope is specially made for prolonged skin contact as it is not manufactured with JBO oil (Jute batching oil). Our jute rope isn’t just stripped of JBO oil once it arrives, it is manufactured and softened with cold pressed vegetable oil that provides a higher quality, skin safe rope free of JBO oil. JBO oil was specifically made to be used on the jute fibres to soften them before they’re made into rope. Our Jute Shibari Rope however isn’t manufactured this way, it is softened with cold pressed vegetable oil. Leaving no odour and no residue in the rope. This means you get a higher quality, skin safe jute shibari rope. We recommend using at least 16m of rope for beginner shibari.
