The finishing cask brings additional dried fruit, chocolate and warming spice, while retaining the robust, oily character for which Ben Nevis Distillery is known. The nose opens brightly, with leafy sherry character and ripe hedgerow berries alongside plump sultanas. Shortbread and buttery popcorn add richness, while bourbon biscuits bring together notes of malt, chocolate and gentle sweetness.
