Moulded Glass Vase 1925 R Lalique Opalescent Art Deco

On offer is a rare R Lalique opalescent glass vase, dated 1925, with moulded leaf decoration and a flared rim. The elongated leaves rise from a sculptural base, with the glass displaying soft blue and milky tones. The underside bears the R Lalique signature. René Lalique was a leading figure in Art Deco glassmaking, whose work achieved particular prominence at the 1925 Paris exhibition of decorative arts. This vase combines naturalistic decoration with the distinctive moulded detail associated with his glass. Please note the rim chip and visible surface scratches shown in the photographs.
