The layered metalwork evokes the endangered pangolin’s protective scales, with pearls adding softness and light. The full Pangolin & pearl collection takes over 13 hours to craft. Our South Luangwa team transforms confiscated poachers’ snare wire, copper and stainless steel into individual beads, folding, curving and drilling each one before joining them with handcrafted jump rings. Because of the intensity of the creation process, each handmade necklace has its own character and energy. Fusing reclaimed poachers’ traps and local materials we celebrate and invest in the African bush through creativity. Handmade by our rural Zambian team, each piece is slightly different.
