Driven Racing Oil GP-1 85W-140 Gear Oil | Quart GP-1 85W-140 Limited Slip Conventional Gear Oil Formulated from highly polar Pennsylvania base oils that provide strong film strength, tack and adhesion to gears without relying on polymers that eventually shear, causing viscosity loss. Protects high offset ring and pinion gears from shock loading during motorsports racing, and slower speed, high torque off-road differentials. Highly recommended for Drag Racing applications. Shear Resistant for Maximum Protection Extreme Shock-Load Protection Foam Resistant Additive Packages Adhesion to Gears and Metal Wetting Properties Limited-Slip additive depletes as the fluid is used. GP-1 Gear Oil has limited slip additive at maintenance level. For new differentials or other applications additional limited slip additives may be required. Driven GP-1 Gear oils use a GL-5 additive package but are not API licensed. GP-1 Gear oils are formulated for High Performance & Racing applications only.
