Radiation is strongest broadside to the loop, with front and rear lobes and deep nulls to the sides. Horizontal Installation — Sky Loop: When installed horizontally, the radiation pattern becomes predominantly omnidirectional in the horizontal plane, providing relatively uniform coverage in all compass directions. It also becomes horizontally polarized, making it an excellent choice when an Omni-directional antenna without a rotator is preferred.
