Our newest Single Cultivar release comes from Shizuoka, Japan's most prolific tea-growing region: Shizu-7132, crafted entirely from the distinctive cultivar of the same name. Processed and refined by our partner factory in Shizuoka from 100% first-flush, stone milled tencha, this is a matcha with a character all its own. Expect warmth in the bowl -- a bright, verdant green that whisks into an exceptionally smooth cup layered with baking-spice notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, a subtle nutty depth, and an inviting coffee-like aroma. There's no bitterness here, just a savory, lingering finish and a cozy, comforting quality that makes it a standout tea when whisked into usucha or koicha.
