Birds of Prey (2025) - Tullie Museum Commission

Commissioned by the Contemporary Arts Society in response to Tullie’s Natural Science collection, this ring draws on local conservation stories and the fragile beauty of the natural world. At its centre is the Hen Harrier—one of England’s most endangered birds of prey—shown returning to the nest with prey in flight. Fine engravings trace the life around it: shifting feathers between male and female birds, and flowers surrounding the nest, with ceramic and rhodium tones adding subtle variation. Birds of Prey (2025) sits between natural history and decorative art, reflecting the interdisciplinary spirit of Tullie’s collection. Read more about the commission here
