Playful and exuberant, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is brimming with black cherry and brambly oak spice aromas. Youthful and ripe with notes of cocoa and cardamom, the palate is plush and fleshy finishing with soft, supple tannins. Blend: 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5.7% Cabernet Franc, 3.8% Merlot, 2.5% Petite Sirah (So precise...) 93 Jeb Dunnuck Aged 19 months in 100% French oak barrels (65% new), the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon is a rock-solid success in this challenging vintage. Plums, subtle cassis, flowery incense, and spicy, cedary nuances all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, round, lush, and textured, with terrific overall balance. I like it today, yet it will keep for 8-10 years. Drink 2025-2035.
