This course explores the role of parent collaboration in play therapy and its impact on child outcomes. Participants will learn how to structure a play therapy intake process, engage parents as partners, and develop meaningful, measurable treatment goals that reflect family values and support the child’s emotional development. Emphasis is placed on child-centered play therapy principles and attachment-informed strategies to strengthen the parent–child relationship and guide treatment planning. Through case examples and applied learning, participants will strengthen their ability to integrate parents into the play therapy process in developmentally appropriate and clinically effective ways.
