New Old Stock 1970s Eclipse UK made Heavy Duty Magnetic Test Indicator Base with Micro-Adjust This beautiful new old stock Magnetic base features a powerful push button magnetic base . Eclipse was actually the first company to make magnetic chucks for machining and are know as a World expert on industrial magnets. The Base has very robust and beautifully ground 16mm upright with a heavy duty fitment and adjustment knob to move and securely lock the 10mm adjustable arm. The end of the arm has a knurled knob the micro-adjusts the holding clamp forward and backwards. The clamp holds a 1/4" / 6mm stem of a test indicator. The unit was made at the height of quality , with fit and finish at its best. Comes complete in a lovely hardwood finger jointed box with painted Eclipse Logo on its top . I cleaned off the packing grease for the photos BUT I have a few more (2) so depending on which one is picked It may or may not have the packing grease still on it. A Very beautiful Tool !
