Designed for rotary screw, vane and reciprocating air compressors where a mineral-based compressor oil is specified. Formulated with highly refined base stocks and a carefully balanced additive system providing excellent oxidation resistance, outstanding anti-wear performance, good rust and corrosion protection and excellent air/water separation. The Rarus 400 Series covers applications where the operating conditions do not require the additional cost of a fully synthetic compressor oil. Outstanding Anti-Wear Protection Carefully balanced anti-wear additive system protects compressor rotors, bearings, vanes and cylinders from wear — extending compressor component life and reducing unplanned maintenance. Good Air/Water Separation Excellent air release and water separation properties — preventing the air entrainment and water emulsification that reduce oil film strength and cause accelerated compressor wear. Good Rust & Corrosion Protection Protects compressor internal surfaces from rust and corrosion in humid industrial environments — particularly important for reciprocating compressors where water condensation in the cylinder is a continuous challenge.
