Arctic Summer

Lofoten is the chain of islands off Norway's northwestern coast, sitting about 100 miles inside the Arctic Circle. The mountains here are some of the oldest exposed rock in Europe — a granite block that was already old when the Atlantic opened. In summer the sun never sets for two months. Evan shoots a moss-and-granite shore on a still day, the water reading darker than the sky.
